Christmas on Mars

The Cleveland Play House
director
As directed by T. Riccio, everything works together to produce a consistent vision, however spaced-out that vision is. Set in the barren desert of the empty room, actors are bright as birds, their colors dazzling and clashing like their own egos.
It does give Cleveland audiences a chance to see work that is genuinely different from the usual fare, and is perfect for the Brooks Theatre.
The Cleveland Plain Dealer
The Play House staff give this provocative play an eminently satisfactory production. Director T. Riccio adeptly catches the quirky quality of the play through an assortment of touches. Characters, for instance, literally burst in out of the blue, usually to the strains of an other-worldly "Silent Night, Holy Night."
