Qayaq adds another impressive achievement to an already outstanding season of production by Theatre UAF. This production is much more than a curiosity piece or a condescendingly collected artifact of Alaskan Native culture.
Together, Tom Riccio, his cast, and his crew, have taken an important step toward revitalizing the Tuma Theater tradition in Alaska.
