The Stranger in Stanley's Room, exists behind the outsized mock-up of a television set that serves the Organic Theatre production as a proscenium arch. suspended across the "picture frame" are stands of metallic "interference," and beyond this sits a black-and-white representation of a living room.

Director Thomas Riccio's staging moves several degrees beyond mere stylization into full-blown weirdness creating a characterization both absurd and somehow touching.
